"Murder at the Barracks" returns for a reprise engagement at the Ft. Vancouver National Site Army Barracks in June 20th-23rd, 2012. Check here for ticket availability.
The stage world is busy for me right now!
This weekend we open "A Talent for Murder" by Jerome Chodorov and Norman Panama at Magenta Theater. I play the sniveling brat "Lawrence" in Magenta Theater's production of "A Talent for Murder". It's been a pleasure working with the cast and director David Roberts. But as with every production, I'll be relieved when it's over!
Last weekend my murder mystery "Murder at the Barracks" sold out all three nights at Ft Vancouver National Site Army Barracks, a successful fundraiser for the Ft Vancouver National Trust. I've been asked to do another for next year, and I really look forward to it. Director Dorinda Toner did a fabulous job and the cast was magnificent. It's so fun to see one's worlds and characters come to life.
On January 22, my newest play, "Dad, I Hardly Know You," will be stage-read as part of the Fertile Ground Festival of New Works at HipBone Studio, 1847 E Burnside St. Ste 104, as part of a double feature paired with Miriam Feder's "Ephemory". "Dad" is a light comedy about a man whose life gets thrown into turmoil when his crude, plain-speaking 75 year old father suddenly moves in with him.
In the spring - Finally! - my first play, "Happy Anniversary" (my baby!) takes the stage at Serendipity Players, directed by Tony Broom. Dates and venue are still TBA, but I really look forward to seeing that one hit the stage.
And of course, I'm still writing.
