Acting and Improvising
If your story needs a live audience, Gary can help you bring it to life. An accomplished actor and improviser, he performs in plays and in improv shows in the Portland/Vancouver area, teaches improv workshops and develops scripts and sketches. His workshop, “Improv Your Writing,” will help you jump-start and enliven your writing through the application of the principles of improvisation.
What's new
Gary currently seeks representation for two completed novels:
- Lying in Judgment tells the story of a man serving on the jury for a murder trial that he committed.
- In The Mountain Man’s Dog, a man who is afraid of dogs and women—not necessarily in that order—gets entangled with both and, reluctantly, in the dirty world of high-stakes politics.

Also, Gary's dinner theater spoof, "Mama Vs. The Mob," earned three awards in the Special Events category at Magenta's 2010 "Artistic Director Awards" - Best Actor, Best Actress, and best Overall Event. Congratulations to the cast and crew and especially director Bonnie Littleton!
